GLAMI Pixel and the cookie legislation

The new legislation requires all websites to obtain users' consent to create and store cookies in their browsers. However, users who do not give consent do not have to stop the GLAMI Pixel measurement code from running.

New Consent parameter

For the optimal functioning of your e-shop on GLAMI, the GLAMI Pixel is essential. For this reason, it now supports the Consent parameter, by means of which the partner e-shop passes on the information to GLAMI as to whether the user has consented to the creation of analytics cookies.

If consent is given (value 1) or the parameter is not passed, the system will process the data as before.
If consent is not given (value 0), the data will be processed anonymously, without using data about the specific user.

You can find the new documentation in your GLAMI administration or at this link.

What cookies does GLAMI Pixel create?

The cookies that the GLAMI pixel creates on the user's browser vary depending on the Consent parameter.

If consent is given, the Pixel works as in the previous version and the cookies generated are intended to measure conversions, i.e. they are analytical cookies.

If consent is not given, the Pixel will only generate necessary cookies. Without these cookies, the measurement would not work. The necessary cookies do not contain any information about the specific user - they are anonymised.
